Our Screen Printing Process

Screen printing is a multi-step process that creates vibrant, long-lasting designs on apparel. It involves coating a screen with emulsion, exposing it to a design stencil, and using a squeegee to press ink through the screen onto fabric. After printing, the ink is cured with heat for durability, resulting in high-quality custom t-shirts perfect for businesses, schools, and events.

Step 1:
Create the Design

First, we design a cool image or logo on a computer—kind of like making digital art or a meme!

Step 2:
Make the Stencil (Screen)

We print the design onto a special film and use a screen (which looks like a window with mesh) to create a stencil. This stencil lets the ink pass through only in certain areas.

Step 3:
Set Up the Screen

The screen is attached to a machine so it stays in place while we print. Think of it like setting up a stencil before spray painting!

Step 4:
Choose the Ink Colors

We pick the ink colors for the design—this is where things get creative! Each color usually needs its own screen.

Step 5:
Print the Design

Using a squeegee (a tool that spreads the ink), we push the ink through the stencil onto the shirt. The ink only goes through the open parts of the screen, making the design appear on the fabric.

Step 6:
Dry the Ink

The shirt goes into a large dryer (kind of like a pizza oven but for shirts) to make sure the ink sticks and lasts forever.

Step 7:
Check for Perfection

We inspect the print to make sure it looks sharp and clean—no smudges or mistakes!

Step 7:
Ready to Wear

The shirt is finished, and now someone gets to wear a fresh, custom-printed design!

Screen Printing Techniques

Plastisol

Plastisol ink is a thick, durable ink used in screen printing that sits on top of the fabric, creating bold, vibrant prints. It’s long-lasting, won’t fade easily, and works well on a variety of garments.

Screen printing technique using puff ink

Puff Ink

Puff ink is a specialty screen printing ink that expands when heated, creating a raised, textured effect. It adds depth and dimension to designs, giving them a bold, standout look.

Softhand Plastisol or Vintage Prints

Softhand plastisol is a modified plastisol ink designed to create a soft, lightweight feel, making it ideal for vintage-style prints. It delivers a worn-in, retro look while maintaining durability and vibrancy on the fabric.
